Employee Engagement and Volunteerism
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT enriches everyone in the workplace….Authentic employee engagement must function for the benefit of all: employees, leaders, organizations, and customers. Employees have higher levels of satisfaction and contribution. Leaders are connected with employees and engaged themselves. The organization is functioning the way it should and customers are receiving the service they deserve. One of the first steps an employer should take is to identify and then develop the strengths and talents of their workforce. A survey is the best way to better understand employee attitudes on key issues as well as how committed, loyal, and engaged your workforce really is. Some areas of consideration for evaluation are Career Development, Job Satisfaction, Productivity, Work Life Balance, Communication, Employee Commitment, and Morale.
Ultimately everyone is getting results that matter to them. When this occurs, employee engagement transforms into a more powerful force --- workplace engagement. Zinger, David (July 2008). “Engaging Ideas”. Employee Engagement Zingers. For more information, click here .
