Bluegrass Alliance for Women Impact Award Information

The Bluegrass Alliance for Women (BAW) is an all volunteer, non-partisan organization that was formed in 2005 as a result of recommendations from the Governor’s Task Force on the Economic Status of Kentucky’s Women. Serving the 17 counties in the Bluegrass Area Development District, one of BAW’s annual events, the Legacy Luncheon, honors women who have made a strong commitment to improve the lives of women and girls in their area. An Impact Award is given to an individual from each county with the Legacy Award given to one of these women, recognizing them as an exemplary role model committed to empowering women and girls in the BGADD.

At the Legacy Luncheon, all Impact Award nominees will be recognized with the Legacy Award winner announced from the Impact Award winners. This year’s Legacy Luncheon is scheduled for March 23 from 12-1:30 p.m. (11:30 registration) at the Holiday Inn North in Lexington.
