The Kentucky ArtisanCenter at Berea hires interim (temporary) employees on a seasonal basis to assist with retail sales, travel information, maintenance, and café operations. The Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resourceshires a number of interim (temporary) employees on a seasonal basis. These employees may perform duties as conservation camp counselor or counselor supervisor at one of three regional camps; maintenance of grounds, equipment and facilities at statewide fish hatcheries or wildlife management areas; fishery or wildlife surveys at remote locations; field sampling activities; computerized entry of field data; greeting customers; selling hunting or fishing licenses; reservations at the Salato Wildlife Education Center; interpretive programs for the general public; development of and participation in events and activities for school groups; administrative support.

The Kentucky State Fair Board (KSFB) hires a number of interim (temporary) employees on a seasonal basis. These positions are for the promotion and production of the 2013 Kentucky State Fair at the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) located in Jefferson County.
These positions involve interaction with the general public, development of and participation in events and activities for the Kentucky State Fair, and administrative support. They also require flexible schedules and travel with possible overnight stays. These employees will perform duties as Fair Bear mascots in the Public Relations Branch.
