June 30th Payroll Deferral Information

The current Budget Bill enacted by the General Assembly mandates that the regular payroll of June 30 cannot be issued prior to July 1. Due to those dates falling upon a weekend, the payroll that would have been received on Friday, June 28, 2013 will not be released until Monday, July 1, 2013.

This budget bill effects all state employees paid by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, except for those within the County Clerks' and Sheriffs' Offices whose payroll is only processed through the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
