If interested in enrolling in direct deposit using this option, you should select a financial institution (bank or credit union) that best fits your needs in terms of convenience, safety, service, interest on deposits, and cost of service. Most financial institutions offer either a free or economy type bank account to individuals who receive their pay by direct deposit.
How to Enroll
You can enroll in direct deposit on your own, using a personal account, through the Employee Self-Service (ESS) feature of the Kentucky Human Resource Information System (KHRIS). If you need assistance enrolling in direct deposit with a personal account, please complete the
Direct Deposit Enrollment Form and turn it in to your HR Administrator for processing.
NOTE: To enroll with this type of account, you must first have the account established as the routing and account number are needed to complete set-up.
