Each poster entry must have a Certificate of Authenticity securely attached to the back. Posters without a Certificate of Authenticity will not be eligible for judging. Entries must be postmarked or hand-delivered by Friday, April 12, 2019, to the Personnel Cabinet, Office of Employee Relations, 501 High Street, 3rd Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601.
Entries will be judged by a panel of judges chosen within the Personnel Cabinet. Six judges will be selected from separate divisions within the Personnel Cabinet. Judges will sign a conflict of interest statement. Additionally, the judges’ immediate family and/or direct descendants are ineligible to participate in the poster contest or receive an award. The awards will be presented at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington on May 9, 2019. Previous winners can be viewed here.

Posters will be divided into age groups, ages 6-9, 10-13 and 14-18. The submitted posters will not be returned. The artwork will become the property of the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet and may be displayed in publications and/or promotions.
