Frequently Asked Questions

  • Team Kentucky internship positions are specific to the Team Kentucky Internship Program, which are coordinated by the Personnel Cabinet. The Team Kentucky Internship Program offers meaningful internship positions and exclusive professional learning opportunities to interns. Interested students can only apply to Team Kentucky positions during the application window. Team Kentucky interns who successfully complete the required 300 working hours throughout the duration of the program will be eligible to receive interview preference for future employment within the executive branch.

  • General co-op/internship positions are available on a year-round basis and do not receive the same programming as Team Kentucky interns. The Personnel Cabinet does not coordinate activities for general co-op/internship positions; instead, each Cabinet that seeks interns is responsible for coordinating the interns’ job responsibilities and any additional programming.
